The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and other departments at UNM are hosting a series of workshops for instructors on this topic. The full schedule and register for the teaching and learning workshops offered by CTL can be found on the CTL website. Upcoming workshops at UNM hosted by CTL and others include: 

  • Law, Ethics, and Generative AI: This meeting will examine key legal issues, classroom challenges, and ethical tensions surrounding the use of generative AI, providing practical insight for educators and institutions. Participants will leave with tools to navigate AI use with transparency, fairness, and academic integrity in mind—both inside and outside their courses.
    Offered October 23 10:00am-11:15am MST and October 24 9:00am-10:15am MST on Zoom.
  • AI & Integrity in Teaching: Explore practical and ethical ways to integrate generative AI into instruction, including how (and maybe even whether!) to do so. This session covers responsible use, risks to academic integrity, and strategies to support student learning while maintaining trust and transparency in virtual classrooms.
    Offered October 30 2:30pm-3:30pm MST & October 31 11:00am-12:00pm MST on Zoom.
