The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and other departments at UNM are hosting a series of workshops for instructors on this topic. The full schedule of teaching and learning workshops offered by CTL can be found on the CTL website. Upcoming workshops at UNM hosted by CTL and others include:

  • Thinking about Thinking with AI: Whether you're a curious mind or an AI beginner, this session explores AI's potential in healthcare and higher education. This session includes an overview of AI's evolution, its historical significance, and its various forms. Discover the ways in which AI demonstrates excellence and increase your understanding of its limitations.

    Presenter: Brian Chapman, Ph.D. is an expert in the field of biomedical informatics and is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne. His primary interest is Natural Language Processing. He also champions the idea of patients as team leaders in managing their own health and advocates for patient empowerment through data-driven insights.
