Question: Allow students to use AI?

If YES

  1. Educate yourself on AI.
  2. Talk with students about AI, i.e.:
    • Transparency
    • Citation of use
    • Necessity of fact-checking output
    • Ethics of AI
    • Etc.
  3. Continue to follow developments.

Syllabus language for allowing or encouraging AI use.

If NO

Question: Can you design AI-proof assignments (i.e., in-class, no computers)?

If YES

  1. DONE!

If NO

  1. Plan for AI restrictions and suspected use.
